Everson Garlic Glean! Thursday, July 18th: 9-11am

There is garlic to be gleaned at Foothills Flowers; one of the incubator farms at the Cloud Mountain Farm Centers' incubation plot in Everson.  We will be pulling up garli, cleaning it then trimming off ends and roots.
This glean requires bending over and pulling garlic from the ground.  It's unclear what the weather will do so dress accordingly.  Please bring your own gloves if you have them.  4 volunteers are needed for this glean

North Bellingham Transparent Apple Glean: Thursday, July 18th: 12:30-2pm

Randy and Kathy Cross are ready for us to glean their transparent apple trees again!  Transparent apples are great for making sauce and are the first apple to ripen in Whatcom County.   We'll need 5 volunteers to make this glean a success.
Harvesting these apples will involve some ladder work, so this is not an appropriate glean for children or those uncomfortable on ladders.

**Specific driving and parking directions will be emailed after you've registered**
